How To Send Documents with Multiple NOK
Set Secondary NOK
1. Navigate to a Case Homepage
2. To use multiple next of kin, you'll want to go to the vital section, then the family members section. You will see that the main contact is by default listed as a NOK. As you go to secondary family members, there is a new field.
3. Click "Family Members"
4. Click "Contact Roles" for the family member in question. Note β you'll want to make sure each family member has an email address, so they can receive the eSignature document.
5. Contact roles allow you to click and choose secondary next of kin for whoever.
6. You can do this for as many family members as needed. Most documents only support up to 4 NOK signers.
Select Documents to Send
7. Once you've set those up, go to "Documents"
8. Click "Send Family eSign"
9. Select a document that has signatures for multiple NOK
10. You'll see that once I select it, all of the secondary and tertiary signers are now included here (NOK #2, NOK #3)
I see I have my main contact, my second next of kin, and my third next of kin. You can override the email addresses here, if need be.
Await Signatures
11. Once I send this for a signature, it will send in order. First, it's going to send it to the main contact, and then once they sign, the second person will get an email that it's their turn to sign, and so forth.
12. The secondary next of kin and the third next of kin will receive an email when we first generate this, saying they'll get an email shortly, once it's their turn to sign.
13. Like normal, you'll receive email notifications when a signer (1) opens a document for signature and (2) signs the document.
