In addition to having signs around the funeral home, have your staff ask guests to fill it out as they're walking into the service. The signs will help, but having a staff member remind guests to fill it out—and explain that their details will be shared with the family—goes a long way.

Have a computer or tablet with it already loaded for folks that don’t want to use their phones. You can also have a staff member manage this computer to help folks who may not be as comfortable with their phones.
