Setting up the Register Book
Click on the register book tab from your cases home screen. If you’ve already filled out the vital information, the decedent's name, birthday, and death date. You can update those fields before publishing the register book page.
Adding a photo
Add a photo by clicking on the ‘Upload new photo’ button and selecting the photo from your computer. You can replace this photo at any time by removing the current photo and uploading a new one.
If you expect a large crowd or would like to print QR codes around your home, you can generate a QR code specific to each case by toggling the QR code button on. You’ll see it appear on the bottom right hand side of the register book screen.
Publish the page
Once you’re done editing, toggle on the publish button to make the page live. Guests will not be able to access it if the publish button is toggled off.
Signing the register book
On your tablet or smartphone, guests can start typing their names directly on the screen. Their full names are required and we ask for their address, email, phone number, and how they knew the family. We leverage Google maps to assist in entering their home address. Once they’ve signed, their name will appear under ‘guests’ immediately.
Exporting and printing the submissions
When you're ready to export all the register book submissions, you can use either the "Print Names Only" button or the "Export and Print Addresses" button.
